Quality Professional Obedience Trainer and Rehabilitation Specialist
Services and fees:
I provide quality and affordable training at low rates in the privacy of your home because that where the majority of issues begin. I will give you individual attention, answer any questions you have as I provide you easy step-by-step ways to solve issues. Dogs, like people feel more secure in environments that they are familiar with, which makes all private training more pleasant for pet and owner! I tend to find that in a group environment, individuals don't ask as many questions and the dog's stress level is higher because of other dogs in the class and she loses her concentration.
In addition, training of any sort is a long term commitment which relies on consistency and the majority of the time you spend with your dog is probably at home. There may be times, however, depending on what your goal is, that I ask we go for a walk outside your home or to meet me at a nearby park. Some of these situations may be to socialize your dog with other dogs or people or obedience at a more intense level.
Below, are the individuals programs I provide and the pricing schedule listed to the left of the page. I encourage you to call or email me if you have any questions about my services or are not sure which program you fit best in.
All obedience classes are an hour long at a time and day or your choice, each week.
6-week puppy obedience course :
(if your dog is 8weeks to 1 year)
In this 6 week course, we will cover ALOT! I will teach you and your pup things such as basic obedience (sit, stay, down, come etc.), chewing, biting, potty training, socialization, crate training, digging, barking, diet, and on the last class, your pup gets a graduation!
6-week adult obedience course :
(if your dog is 1 year and older)
For your adult dog, we will cover all major basic obedience. Many times people take a obedience class when they have a hyper or unruly dog. This gives them a focus and can calm them down immensely. Basic obedience will include; Sit, stay, come, sit on a heel, down, down-stay, heeling on a loose lead and more. I will teach you all this and more without using any special collars or negative reinforcement tools.
Hourly Behavioral Training/Rehabilitating:
This is for when you need help in a certain area that is not obedience related. Common problems may be barking, digging, unsocialized, chewing, etc. If your dog does it and you want him/her not to, its a behavioral issue.
Please understand that I do not rehabilitate very aggressive dogs. This requires a trainer who’s specialization is aggression.
Fun Tricks and Common Obedience Commands:
This was added as on option for you to get more from your training without paying for an extra course. For example, if you are taking a behavioral training course and don’t want to take the whole 6 week obedience program, you could learn a few (up to 3) obedience commands. Or you could add on a few tricks to your Obedience program !
